I purchased this replacemenet carafe so I could continue using my Braun coffeemaker. The carafe works just fine, and I'm back to drinking coffee again.
This carafe was the perfect replacement for the one I broke. My wife is happy.that's all that matters. ;)
Bought this with some trepidation after seeing reviews about the replacement being fragile.Mine lasted for well over a year until the coffeemaker itself bit the dust. I donated it to salvation army.
I broke my original carafe and wanted the exact replacement, and got the exact replacement.The only question is that I am not computer savy and this was a big thing to order for me. After I placed the order a sign came up saying other customers had chosen "this product" and showed the same carafe but five dollars less. I couldn't get to it so just paid the order I made. I am happy with the product but not the price since a lesser price was shown to me.
We've had this carafe on our Braun coffemaker for years, and finally broke it in the sink while trying to balance a toddler and the morning coffee routine. This replacement carafe was pretty much an exact replacement. I didn't find, as other reviewers had mentioned, the glass to be any thinner than the original. If anything, this one felt a little more secure than our original, specifically the handle attachment to the carafe.
